The product
The sturdy, safe household ladder, TÜV certified to EN 14183
BLACK MAX is the HYTAMA folding ladder for those who want strength and safety at home: a high-strength painted steel frame, extra-wide non-slip steps and a soft-grip handle.
It is TÜV Rheinland certified to EN 14183, with a maximum working load of 150 kg and a frame tested up to 250 kg. The steps, spaced 23 cm apart, have a non-slip PE surface, and the bell-shaped feet keep it stable on any floor.
Available with 2, 3 and 4 steps, it lets you work at heights of up to approx. 2.46 m, 2.70 m or 2.93 m. Folded, it is ultra-slim: store it in a cupboard, behind a door or between a piece of furniture and the wall, and carry it easily by the built-in handle.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between BLACK MAX and WHITE MAX?
They share the same frame and the same performance: tested up to 250 kg, TÜV Rheinland certified to EN 14183 and available with 2, 3 and 4 steps. Only the finish differs: black for BLACK MAX, white for WHITE MAX.
What is the difference between the MAX series and the MINI series?
Both series are TÜV Rheinland certified to EN 14183 and available with 2, 3 and 4 steps. The MAX series is designed for more intensive use (certified load capacity 150 kg, tested up to 250 kg); the MINI series (150 kg) is ideal for light household use and when you need to save space.
How do I open and fold it?
To open it, hold the handle and push the top step down, making sure it locks the bar before you climb. To fold it, hold the handle and lift the rear of the top step.
What is the maximum working load?
The maximum working load is 150 kg, including the user, tools and materials. The frame is tested up to 250 kg and is TÜV Rheinland certified to EN 14183.
How do I use it safely?
Open it fully, check that it is locked, and use it only on a flat, solid and stable surface; always face the ladder when climbing up or down, one person at a time, without leaning out to the side. Do not use it near live electrical sources or in front of unlocked doors, and keep it out of the reach of children.
How should I store it?
In a clean, dry place, without leaving objects on the steps. We recommend checking its condition regularly, especially after long periods without use, and removing any residue such as wet paint, oil or snow.
